Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Guildford, Surrey Salary/Benefits: 26k - 36k + Training & Benefits Our client is recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Water Hygiene Engineer to cover local contracts, spanning commercial, healthcare and local authority premises. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and reputable outfit, who provide the full range of water hygiene, water treatment and legionella services across the UK. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good level of technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines. Experience / Qualifications: Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines Strong communication skills Must have experience working across a range of premises, including: commercial and healthcare Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills Professional manner The Role: Conducting a range of water hygiene compliance duties Showerhead descales Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections TMV servicing and failsafe checks Water sampling Temperature monitoring Basic flushing on outlets Updating logbooks Working to set project deadlines Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Water Management Engineer, Legionella Operative, Water Hygiene Technician, Environmental Service Technician.
