Security Officer - College

Security Officer 15- 20 per hour inside IR35 Full-time - 37 hours per week On Site - Loughborough 1-3 Month Contract Are you an experienced Security Officer looking for your next immediately available contract role, working within a well-established education setting? Do you hold a valid SIA licence and have experience maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing excellent customer service and dealing confidently with challenging situations? You'll support the college at Stephenson Campus, helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The role will involve a strong focus on customer service, security procedures and effective de-escalation when dealing with incidents or challenging behaviour. This role would suit someone with previous security experience who is looking for a short-term contract within an established education environment. The Role: Maintain a safe and secure environment across Stephenson Campus Provide professional and approachable customer service to students, staff and visitors Monitor the site and respond appropriately to security incidents Use effective de-escalation techniques when dealing with challenging situations Support the implementation of security procedures within an education setting Liaise with college staff and other relevant personnel when required Full-time position for an initial 1-3 month contract The Person: Hold a valid SIA Security Licence Previous experience working as a Security Officer, Security Guard or in a similar security role Strong customer service and communication skills Confident using de-escalation techniques and managing challenging situations An understanding of security within an education setting is desirable Professional, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure Able to work effectively as part of a wider team Available to work full-time for the duration of the contract Reference Number: BBBH(phone nu
