KS2 Class Teacher

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely cares about children, believes in their potential and wants to make a difference. Skills & Experience Ideally, you will have experience of teaching in upper KS2, although we are interested in hearing from teachers who can demonstrate the skills, commitment and enthusiasm needed to make a real difference to our pupils. We are looking for someone with: Strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum. High expectations of teaching, learning and pupil behaviour. The ability to plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and inclusive learning. Experience of using assessment effectively to identify gaps and plan next steps. The ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND. Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families. A commitment to inclusion and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A willingness to reflect, learn and continually develop professional practice. Experience of upper KS2 is desirable, but we are equally interested in the qualities, skills and commitment you can bring to our school.
