Gas Servicing Supervisor Outskirts of the City | £23.47 per hour | Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-3:30pm | Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm | 37 Hours per Week | 12 Weeks Temporary About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Gas Servicing Supervisor to lead a team of Gas Engineers delivering servicing, maintenance, and compliance works across domestic properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry regulations while driving high standards of customer service and technical excellence. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people management responsibilities, making it ideal for an experienced Gas Engineer looking to progress into a leadership position. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of Gas Service Engineers. Monitor engineer performance, productivity, and quality of work. Conduct technical audits and quality inspections. Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations and health & safety requirements. Manage servicing schedules and resource allocation. Provide technical guidance and fault-finding support to engineers. Carry out toolbox talks, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions where required. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal departments to ensure service delivery targets are achieved. Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new engineers. Essential Requirements Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1). Valid Gas Safe Registration. Proven experience within domestic gas servicing and maintenance. Previous supervisory, team leader, or mentoring experience. Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and industry best practice. Excellent troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Strong communication and organisational skills. Desirable Requirements Experience within Social Housing, Local Authority, or Private Housing sectors. Energy efficiency or renewable heating system knowledge. Unvented Hot Water qualification. IOSH or health & safety qualification. Experience managing KPIs and service contracts. What We Offer Pay of £23.47 per hour Company vehicle and fuel card.
