BI DEVELOPER LONDON 3 DAYS ONSITE OUTSIDE IR35 £450 TO £500 PER DAY This is an opportunity to join a business undergoing a major data transformation programme, helping to build a trusted reporting environment across multiple business functions. You will play a key role in shaping data architecture, improving integration's, and delivering meaningful Power BI insights that support strategic decision-making. The Company They are a well-established, commercially focused organisation with a strong international presence. As part of an ongoing data integration initiative, they are bringing together information from multiple systems across finance, HR, operations, and client-facing functions. They are investing in creating a single source of truth to improve reporting, data visibility, and business performance. This contract offers the chance to make a tangible impact within a complex and evolving environment. The Role and Deliverables Engage with senior stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and recommend BI solutions. Take ownership of the existing Azure SQL Server environment, including databases, integrations, and API connections. Troubleshoot data quality, connectivity, and integration issues across multiple business systems. Support the development and enhancement of data warehouse architecture, data pipelines, and transformation layers. Design and deliver intuitive Power BI dashboards for commercial, finance, operational, and HR stakeholders. Translate complex business data into actionable insights and reporting outputs that support decision-making. Your Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI. Advanced SQL development capability, ideally within Azure SQL Server environments. Experience managing and supporting existing database environments and data platforms. Strong understanding of data integration's, APIs, and troubleshooting complex data flows. Proven ability to deliver end-to-end BI solutions, from backend architecture through to visualisation. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, with exposure to AWS or GCP advantageous. Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Ability to work independently and operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment. Commercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering business value through data. Experience within media, agency, creative, or other fast-moving commercial organisations is beneficial. Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, SAP-based platforms, or large-scale transformation programmes would be advantageous.
