Your new role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support to access their learning. You will help create an inclusive and positive learning environment, supporting students both in and out of the classroom. Key responsibilities include: Providing one-to-one and small group support to students. Assisting learners with a range of additional needs, including SEND. Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence. Supporting lecturers in delivering an inclusive learning experience. Helping students to achieve their academic and personal goals. Promoting a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will: Have experience working with young people or adults in an educational, care, or support setting. Be patient, empathetic, and proactive. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be able to build positive relationships with students and staff. Have a genuine passion for supporting learners to succeed.
