Understands the importance of safeguarding, health and safety and recovery-focused support, including the ways substance use may affect people’s wellbeing and safety. Can work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, supporting people to have choice and control wherever possible. Is comfortable working independently, staying alert throughout a night shift and communicating clearly through accurate records and effective handovers.
