Working pattern: 4 days office / 1 day WFH We’re working with a successful, privately owned international business with a 60+ year heritage and operations across the globe. The business is entering an exciting period of growth and transformation, and they’re looking for an experienced EA to support the Founder & CEO . This is a true right-hand role supporting a highly entrepreneurial and charismatic CEO who has built the business from the ground up. He’s creative, hugely knowledgeable and relationship-driven, with a fast-moving and spontaneous working style. You’ll need to be confident, highly organised and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to bring structure, anticipate what’s needed and build a trusted relationship. This is not a role where you’ll simply wait for instructions - there’s genuine scope to improve how the CEO and business operate. Responsibilities will include: Manage a complex diary, inbox and competing priorities Coordinate extensive international travel and meetings across multiple time zones Keep the CEO ahead of commitments, priorities and deadlines Prepare for meetings and ensure actions are followed through Act as a trusted gatekeeper and key point of contact Liaise confidently with senior stakeholders, customers, advisers and external contacts Support business and strategic projects Bring greater structure to information, documents and day-to-day processes Help modernise the CEO’s working practices, including Microsoft 365, Teams and SharePoint Anticipate needs and take ownership rather than simply react to requests What we’re looking for Previous experience supporting a Founder, CEO, MD or senior executive Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A proactive, anticipatory approach with strong follow-through Confidence working with a strong and entrepreneurial personality Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Discretion, sound judgement and emotional intelligence Strong Microsoft 365 skills Resilience, adaptability and a good sense of humour This is an excellent opportunity for an EA who enjoys being close to the action , likes taking ownership and wants to make a genuine difference within a growing international business.
