Locum Social Worker within Family Help Pod in Wokingham UK, earning £38 hourly on an Ongoing basis, Full-time. What you will do:
- Provide high quality, relationship-based social work to children, young people, and families, focusing on their safety and promoting positive outcomes.
- Deliver robust safeguarding practices in line with statutory responsibilities for children in need, child protection, and looked after children.
- Collaborate with families and partner agencies to co-produce purposeful plans that support sustainable change.
- Maintain strong professional relationships, contributing to effective multi-agency working to enhance outcomes for children and young people.
- Ensure high standards of recording, report writing, and court work meeting legislative and organisational criteria.
- Champion corporate parenting principles, promoting the best outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
- Deliver effective and efficient practices following the Wokingham Practice Model, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery.
To excel in this role, you must hold a degree or equivalent in social work and have current Social Work England registration. Significant frontline experience within Social Services in the UK is essential, ideally in roles involving children and families.
