Stone Mason

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Stonemason to work on a stone building in Wigan, carrying out repairs to cracked and damaged stonework . Duties: Repairing cracks and damage to existing stonework Carefully removing and replacing damaged sections where required Repointing and repairing joints Matching existing stonework and finishes Carrying out detailed restoration and remedial works Ensuring repairs blend seamlessly with the existing building Working safely around the building and following site instructions Maintaining a clean and tidy working area Requirements: Proven experience as a Stonemason Previous experience repairing and restoring existing stone buildings Strong attention to detail and quality of finish Ability to identify and repair cracks and defects in stonework Relevant CSCS card preferred Own tools and PPE Reliable and able to work independently
