Carpentry Instructor (Full Teacher Training Provided) Aylesbury 27,000 + Full Teacher Training + Excellent Pension + 38 Days Holiday + Career Progression into Teaching Are you a Carpenter or Joiner with strong hands-on industry experience? This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, modern Further Education college that is committed to developing industry professionals into outstanding educators. No previous teaching experience is required, with full support and funded teacher training provided. In this role, you will work alongside experienced lecturers, delivering practical Carpentry sessions, supporting learners in the workshop, maintaining a safe learning environment and ensuring equipment and resources are prepared for practical activities. You will also supervise learners during practical sessions, reinforce key skills and help students develop the confidence and practical ability needed to succeed in industry. The ideal candidate will have practical Carpentry experience, a Level 2 qualification or above in Carpentry or Joinery and a good understanding of health and safety within a workshop or site environment. You will be enthusiastic about developing others and looking for a long-term career in education. The Role: Deliver practical Carpentry instruction and workshop support. Assist lecturers in delivering engaging practical lessons. Supervise learners during workshop activities. Maintain tools, equipment and workshop facilities. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times. Full teacher training provided. Monday to Friday. The Person: Industry experience within Carpentry or Joinery. Level 2 qualification or above in Carpentry or Joinery. Hands-on practical skills and good technical knowledge. Good understanding of Health & Safety.
