We are seeking to appoint a compassionate and dedicated SEND TA to work with our children who have additional needs, particularly those with complex communication needs or children with Social and Emotional needs. As a SEND TA, you will play a vital role in supporting SEND pupils with complex needs. Under the direction of the SENDCO and class teachers, you will support them to access the curriculum through adaptations and adjustments and to develop their communication and SEMH skills in a safe, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide tailored support to SEND pupils with complex needs, promoting their independence and engagement • Assist in the implementation of individual support plans and interventions • Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to meet pupils’ needs effectively • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development within the school community • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the SEND coordinator and relevant staff • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced staff and contribute to our school’s inclusive ethos.
