Your new company A leading civil engineering contractor with a strong presence across Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their expanding Water & Wastewater Infrastructure team. Your new role As Site Agent, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Scotland. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors and coordinate project resources to ensure schemes are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations.Key responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple civil engineering projects. Leading and promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards. Planning and managing project programmes, resources and labour requirements. Proactively identifying, managing and mitigating project risks. Monitoring project performance, progress and costs. Raising and managing Early Warning Notices (EWNs) where required. Liaising with clients, stakeholders, local authorities and project teams throughout delivery. Managing subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve programme milestones. Coordinating material procurement and resource allocation. Overseeing private land access and highway possession requirements. Driving problem solving and continuous improvement across project activities. Supporting self-delivery operations where applicable.
