As part of a dynamic Active Dundee, you will assist in the delivery of Dance, Sports and Physical Activity sessions, for Leisure & Culture Dundee, coaching to a variety of groups. When work is available you will be contacted.
There is no obligation for Leisure & Culture Dundee to offer you work, not are you obliged to accept work. The rate of pay is £14.12.
For more information contact gillian.pack@leisureandculturedundee.comRequirementsNGB Award in any sport or Sports/Dance Leadership Award or NC Sports Coaching or SVQ Level 2 Sports Coaching AwardResponsibilitiesAs part of a dynamic Active Dundee, you will assist in the delivery of sports and Physical Activity sessions, subject to National Governing Body minimum qualifications, for Leisure & Culture Dundee, coaching to a variety of groups, whilst adhering, where relevant, to Scottish Governing Body (S.G.B.) guidelines and specified coach to participant ratios.The IndividualWe are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is experienced in dance & sports, is patient and great at motivating and encouraging youngsters. An additional skill would be confidence and experience to perform at big events. We are specifically looking for an individual to coach on our ‘Boys Dance Too’ Project this year.
You will experience in practical/voluntary sport coaching and have experience of planning structured activity. You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with young people, have strong leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and enthuse others.
