JOB TITLE: Part Time Accounts Administrator | 12 month FTC

LOCATION: Wellington, Somerset

HOURLY RATE: £14.00 P/H

HOURS: 15 hours per week (2 - 3 days)

We're delighted to be working with a well-established engineering business to recruit an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract, starting in October. Joining a friendly and supportive team, you'll play a key role in keeping the accounts function running smoothly and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, takes pride in their attention to detail, and is keen to become part of a collaborative team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing


• Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor payment statuses, and proactively chase remittances


• Reconcile commercial card statements and resolve discrepancies


• Manage and reconcile employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies


• Answering calls for the department and assisting with queries

KEY SKILLS:

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail


• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams


• Proficiency with Zoho Books or similar accounting software


• Self-motivated and proactive


• Reliable and trustworthy


• Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously


• Friendly and approachable demeanour
