Logistics / Warehouse Administrator, Northwest Nottingham 6 months contract as a minimum £27,000k plus benefits Working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am to 1:30pm on Friday, operating on a hybrid weekly office rota. Reporting to the Customer Service & Logistics Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide excellent customer service and communication support, processing customer orders through internal management systems, producing daily reports and resolving customer and delivery queries. Key Responsibilities Raise and process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Produce daily reports for internal stakeholders and logistics customers. Independently troubleshoot and resolve delivery and distribution issues. Prepare shipment documentation, including export paperwork, customs documentation and hazardous goods requirements where applicable. Coordinate customer collections and returns, arranging transportation and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed. Liaise with external logistics providers and follow up on outstanding issues, including credits and returns. Maintain databases to ensure accurate stock availability information and shipment schedules. Review shipment processes and identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Monitor stock levels and work closely with warehouse teams regarding stock transfers and inventory requirements. Experience and Qualifications Previous customer service experience gained within a busy warehouse / logistics environment. Experience of accurate data entry and maintaining records. Good understanding of transport and logistics operations. Essential Skills Strong IT skills, including experience with Google Sheets and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively, particularly when working to strict deadlines. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Flexible and proactive approach with a positive, can-do attitude. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling numerical data and information. Our client will be looking to conduct interviews immediately and will consist of 1 stage only.
