Admin officer - Nuneaton County Court Location: Nuneaton CV11 4WX Working Days / Hours: 37 hours Mon- Fri Working Pattern: 9am - 5pm Pay Rate: £12.86 Join a hiring for our client opportunity where you'll play a key, people-centred role supporting justice processes-making sure users, stakeholders and colleagues have the right information, at the right time, through the right channel. What you'll be doing: * Manage administrative activity to support and facilitate hearing processes and related events * Provide support and clear signposting to users and stakeholders via face-to-face, incoming/outgoing calls, and correspondence in a range of formats * Use service scripts and knowledge guidance to direct queries to the correct services, including for customers with specific or complex needs * Follow complaints policies and procedures, responding promptly to help prevent escalation and updating case systems as required * Maintain accurate case file handling, secure information management, and compliance with retention and data loss protocols * Support operational delivery through standard operating procedures and meeting service/performance targets * Help manage jury service tasks (selection, deferral, reassignment and attendance tracking) and process related expenses/court fees * Assist with listing and scheduling activities, coordinate diary/admin tasks locally, and respond to urgent matters * Support enforcement processes, including financial assessments, fine collection assistance, and producing basic statistical/financial reports * Contribute to health and safety operations (e.g., PEEPs, facility checks and issue logging) under guidance What you'll bring: * Confident communication skills and an empathetic approach to customer service * Strong attention to detail for accurate administration and data entry * Ability to follow policies, procedures and operational standards consistently * Comfort handling sensitive information securely * A calm, responsive style-especially when matters need immediate action Additional information: You'll also help identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings and inform the Senior Person on Site (SPoS) when required If you're organised, customer-focused and ready to support essential services, we'd love to hear from you.
