Administration Officer Location: Wrexham Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37 hours per week), fully office based Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour for the first 12 weeks, then £13.25 thereafter Contract: This is an ongoing temporary assignment If you're organised, comfortable working to deadlines, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this is a great opportunity. Our Client is hiring for a reputed client and needs an Admin Officer who can confidently manage records, communications and administrative processes in a busy, professional environment. What you'll be doing: * Deliver a varied range of general administration tasks using Microsoft Office packages * Support managers and frontline staff with transactional administration across your area of responsibility * Keep accurate records, logs and databases up to date, including maintenance and checks * Act as the main contact point for communications to the team, prioritising and directing messages to the right person or department * Organise, produce and maintain documentation for the area of work, including initial checks and paperwork ready for manager review * Complete monitoring returns and collate information relating to Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs) * Input requisitions onto a finance database and process requisitions for your defined area * Coordinate awareness sessions and help ensure relevant stakeholders and agencies are informed so information is shared appropriately * Respond within agreed timescales, producing reports when required * Be prepared for occasional contact with prisoners, depending on your area of work (this is a non-operational role) What you'll bring: * Strong administrative capability with a methodical approach to accurate record keeping * Confident, clear communication-able to prioritise and route messages effectively * Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages * A calm, reliable style when working in a fast-moving environment and meeting deadlines * Comfort collaborating with teams and maintaining compliance-focused administration * Attention to detail and a genuine commitment to doing things properly first time Additional information: * Clearance required: HMPPS vetting (this can take approximately 6 weeks).
