Peer Support and Learning Facilitator

Everything we do is rooted in inclusion, equality, respect, and collaboration, with people at the centre of our services.This is a rewarding opportunity to support disabled people, individuals with long-term conditions, and carers to increase confidence, develop skills, strengthen social connections, and gain greater independence through peer support and learning activities.We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:• Experience of organising and facilitating groups, workshops, learning activities, or community events• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with a diverse range of people• Experience of working in a person-centred, outcome-focused role supporting individuals or communities• The ability to build effective relationships with service users, volunteers, partner organisations, and stakeholders• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload• A commitment to equality, inclusion, independent living, and the Social Model of DisabilityYou will help design and deliver peer support groups, workshops, training sessions, and one-to-one support opportunities.
