Location: Within 45 minutes of Fakenham, King's Lynn, Hunstanton, Wisbech or Huntingdon Salary: 32,760 - 36,738 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Join a Team That Values True Craftsmanship We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist carpentry business seeking experienced Bench Joiners and Site Carpenters to support its continued growth. Unlike volume housebuilding or repetitive new-build projects, these opportunities offer the chance to work on a diverse range of bespoke timber structures where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are at the heart of everything they do. Projects include: Bespoke timber buildings Playground equipment Bird hides Decking and outdoor structures Heritage-style joinery Specialist timber construction projects These roles would particularly suit candidates with backgrounds in bespoke joinery, traditional carpentry, workshop manufacturing, heritage projects, timber framing or self-employed craftsmanship. Bench Joiner Working within the workshop, you'll manufacture high-quality bespoke timber products and structures from drawings and specifications, ensuring exceptional standards of finish and workmanship. Site Carpenter Working on installation projects across various locations, you'll play a key role in delivering bespoke timber structures on site. This role includes occasional working away from home, typically between 6 and 12 weeks per year . Additional Benefits for Site Carpenters: working-away allowance and paid overtime paid at time-and-a-half while working away What We're Looking For Previous carpentry or joinery experience Experience within bespoke or specialist timber projects Strong practical skills and attention to detail Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship Full UK driving licence (essential) CSCS card preferred Location Applicants should ideally live within approximately 45
