Your new company As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of internal and external painting and decorating works across housing stock, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.You will work closely with tenants, colleagues, and other trades to help maintain homes and communities while delivering an excellent customer experience.We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing organisation for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their busy Property Care team.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and providing outstanding customer service within occupied and void residential properties. Your new role Carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating. Complete surface preparation including sanding, filling, priming and repairing damaged surfaces. Apply a range of finishes including emulsion, gloss, undercoat and specialist coatings. Undertake mould treatment, stain blocking and associated remedial decorating works. Work on timber, metal and masonry surfaces. Carry out minor repair and maintenance works associated with decorating tasks. Support the delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and void property refurbishments. Work alongside other trades to achieve efficient property turnaround times. Order and manage materials effectively. Complete job records and documentation accurately using company systems. Conduct customer satisfaction checks and maintain excellent tenant relation
