Housing Officer Initial 3-Month Contract Potential Extension Bristol (BS1) Hybrid Working £18.35 PAYE or £23.29 Umbrella per hour Are you an experienced housing professional with a strong background in tenancy management and social housing? Client Snapshot : We re working with an established public-sector housing service seeking a Housing Officer to provide a high-quality tenancy management service across a designated patch. You ll manage tenancies from beginning to end, help residents sustain their homes and address issues including anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches and hate crime. Vacancy Brief : Full-time position Initial three-month contract with the potential for extension Based in Bristol, postcode BS3 Hybrid working across the office, community locations and home Working from home available two days per week Current full driving licence required; a pool car is available, so your own vehicle is not essential Standard DBS check required Key Responsibilities : Manage tenancies, properties and sites across a designated housing patch in accordance with policies and procedures Provide advice and support to help tenants sustain successful tenancies Investigate and respond effectively to tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and hate crime Manage a varied caseload and resolve complex tenancy, neighbourhood, complaint and enquiry matters Conduct property and estate visits, ensuring housing sites are safe and well maintained Identify residents support needs and work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies and community services Maintain accurate records and participate in multi-agency meetings, case conferences, resident groups and local initiatives Ideal Candidate Profile : Previous experience within housing, social housing or a relevant public or third-sector service Understanding of housing legislation relating to tenancy management and the issues affecting social housing tenants Ex
