Teaching Assistant (Speech and Language) – Two vacancies Contract:                   Fixed term until 31/08/2027 Pay Grade:                Grade 3 SCP 5 (£25,583 FTE) Hours Available:       19.5 over 3 days or 26 over 4 days Term time only working 38.2 weeks including 1 Trust Development Day and 1 INSET. Salary:                        19.5 hour role: £11,359 actual 26 hour role: £15,145 actual Location: Across Palladian Academy Trust Primary Schools in Bath & North East Somerset Closing date: 17th September Interview date: Thursday 24th September Palladian Academy Trust is seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive both in school and beyond. Working across our primary schools, you will play a vital role in supporting children to access learning, participate fully in school life, and achieve their individual potential. You will work closely with teachers, SENDCos, Speech and Language Therapists, our dedicated Speech and Language HLTA, and the Palladian School Improvement Team to deliver targeted interventions and provide high-quality support. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children and helping them find their voice. Essential Requirements GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification, or relevant experience. Experience working with primary-aged children. Experience supporting children with SEND. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A patient, nurturing and flexible approach.
