Estimator / Senior Estimator South Yorkshire Up to 65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Hays Construction are working in partnership with an established and growing regional main contractor to recruit an Estimator or Senior Estimator for their South Yorkshire office. With a strong reputation across Yorkshire and the Midlands, our client delivers a diverse range of projects within the education, healthcare, commercial and industrial sectors, typically ranging in value up to 15m. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced estimating professional. The Role Working closely with the Pre-Construction and Commercial teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders across a variety of new build and refurbishment schemes. Key responsibilities include: Producing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities Attending tender review meetings and client presentations Supporting bid strategy and contributing to successful project wins Building and maintaining strong relationships with the supply chain About You Previous experience in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role within construction Background working for a main contractor Experience pricing projects within commercial, healthcare, education or industrial sectors Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software What's on Offer?
