Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Bath, Somerset Salary/Benefits: 26k - 35k + Training & Benefits Our client is an independent specialist, who provide water hygiene / legionella services. They are recruiting for a self-sufficient and hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer for their team in the South West of England. There are excellent routes for further training within the industry, as our client is renowned for upskilling and promoting within their existing team. The ideal candidate will have existing experience working across a range of client sites independently. You will be travelling across: Bath, Bristol, Keynsham, Yate, Chippenham, Calne, Melksham, Frome, Radstock, Weston-Super-Mare, Clevedon, Portishead, Wells, Warminster, Trowbridge, Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil, Thornbury, Dursley, Newport, Chepstow, Cardiff, Barry, Caerphilly, Pontypridd, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Abergavenny, Lydley, Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester. Experience / Qualifications: Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer It would be advantageous to hold industry-related training courses Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines Experience working within teams and independently Confident in producing regular service reports Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role: Showerhead descales TMV servicing and maintenance CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections Acid descales Basic flushing on little used outlets Water sampling Temperature monitoring Updating site logbooks Working to set project deadlines Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Water Hygiene Operative, Legionella Operative, Legionella Technician, Environmental Service Technician, Water Management Engineer.
