Teaching Assistant / Ref: TA001 Start date: As soon as possible Contract: Fixed until Friday 26th March 2027 Working Hours: 9am to 11am each day / term time only Salary: £5,852 (£25,133 FTE) Job Expires: Wednesday 23rd September 2026 We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team as an additional adult supporting a child with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will provide consistent one-to-one support, helping the child to access learning, develop their independence and engage positively with school life. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider staff team to implement strategies and support the child’s individual needs, while creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable and able to build positive, trusting relationships with children. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs or SEND would be desirable, although we welcome applications from individuals with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
