Mobile Caretaker

Your new company Location: Sefton Contract: Temporary (2-3 Months) Start Date: Immediate Start Available Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Caretaker / Estate Operative to join a housing team in Sefton on a temporary contract for an initial 2-3-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in estate management, care-taking, or property maintenance who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-presented communal environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of estate and care-taking duties across residential properties, helping to ensure communal areas, external spaces, and shared facilities are maintained to a high standard. Your new role Carrying out general care taking and estate management duties Completing minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks Internal and external painting and decorating works Conducting regular litter picks across estates and communal areas Removing rubbish, fly-tipping, and unwanted items from communal spaces Managing and completing clear landing procedures Issuing and monitoring TORT notices where required Ensuring communal areas are clean, safe, and free from hazards What you'll need to succeed Previous experience working as a Caretaker, Estate Operative, Facilities Assistant, Labourer, or similar role Experience carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance works Confidence working independently and managing your own workload Driving licence essential What you'll get in return This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced caretaker to secure an immediate start with a well-established housing organisation supporting local communities across Sefton. 2-3 month contract What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
