SALARY: £13.85 Per Hour

DURATION: 6 months

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm

THE COMPANY: Our client, a well-established agricultural company located just outside of Exeter, is on the lookout for a motivated Customer Service Administrator to join their small and friendly team.

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administrator to provide essential support across customer service, order processing, product management, and transport operations, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Provide customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.


• Handle customer and sales team enquiries via telephone and email, processing orders efficiently and directing enquiries where required.


• Set up new customer accounts, maintain accurate records, and manage orders through internal systems while liaising with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.


• Maintain product information on company systems and support the introduction of new products and formulations.


• Assist with transport administration when required, ensuring delivery schedules and driver paperwork are accurate and up to date.


• Provide cover and support for colleagues as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-focused approach.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Previous experience in a customer service, administration, or office support role.


• Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly telephone manner.


• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.


• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using order processing or CRM systems would be beneficial.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing a varied workload.
