Corporate Tax Assistant Manager GBP46,000 to GBP52,000 per annum (DOE) Permanent, full time Cheltenham A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Cheltenham is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to support managers and partners on compliance and advisory work across a varied portfolio. The work goes well beyond domestic compliance, taking in cross border structures, transfer pricing considerations and the tax implications of international trading and investment. Cheltenham is a prosperous and well connected commercial centre, and the firm offers a clear pathway to Manager. What's the day to day of the role: Supporting corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery across a varied client portfolio Assisting with cross border tax matters Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and computations to a high standard Building and maintaining client relationships as a trusted point of contact Identifying tax planning opportunities and communicating recommendations clearly Supervising and mentoring junior members of the corporate tax team Required skills and qualifications: CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a solid corporate tax background gained in practice At least four years' experience within a UK Practice environment Proven experience delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory work across a range of clients Exposure to international tax matters, including transfer pricing or cross border structures, would be advantageous Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and current developments Benefits: Flexible working Company pension Clear pathway to Manager level You might not meet every criterion, but if you're passionate about developing your career, we'd love to hear from you.
