Clothing Bank Volunteer

Role Purpose The Clothing Bank Volunteer plays an important role in supporting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship by helping to provide access to good-quality clothing and essential items. Volunteers assist with the day-to-day running of the clothing bank, ensuring donations are sorted, organised, and distributed in a welcoming, respectful, and dignified manner. Key Responsibilities Receive, sort, and organise donated clothing, shoes, and accessories. Check donated items are clean, safe, and suitable for distribution. Help maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming clothing bank environment. Assist service users in finding suitable clothing and essential items. Replenish displays and stock as required. Support the collection and preparation of clothing packs for individuals and families. Record donations and stock levels where required. Promote dignity, respect, and confidentiality for all service users. Work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and partner organisations. Follow Hope Community Project's policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
