Teaching Assistant

Location: Harrogate Pay Rate: £95 - £105 per day Contract Type: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: ASAP Hays Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Harrogate. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting as soon as possible, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of pupils across the school. As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning within the classroom, working closely with class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. The role will involve a combination of general classroom support and providing 1:1 assistance to individual pupils who may require additional guidance. The Role Supporting pupils across a range of year groups and classroom settings. Providing general classroom assistance to teachers. Delivering targeted 1:1 support to pupils with varying learning needs. Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Assisting with classroom preparation and learning activities. What We're Looking For Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or educational setting. A positive, patient, and proactive approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
