Job Description

Executive Assistant – Investment Banking | 12-Month Contract Central London | £58,000–£63,000 | 3 Days Office / 2 Days WFH We’re recruiting an experienced Executive Assistant to join a busy front-office deal team within a leading investment banking firm on a 12-month contract. Supporting two Managing Directors and two Vice Presidents, this is a highly involved EA role where you’ll be closely embedded within the team, supporting client activity and ongoing deals whilst ensuring the day-to-day runs seamlessly. This would suit an EA who enjoys being close to the business, takes a genuine interest in what their team is working on and thrives in an environment where priorities move quickly. You’ll need to be organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership, with the judgement to know what needs attention and when. The Role Managing complex and constantly changing diaries for senior investment bankers. Coordinating detailed international travel across multiple time zones. Scheduling high volumes of internal and external meetings, particularly around roadshows where 20+ meetings may need to be coordinated within a short timeframe. Managing inboxes, identifying priorities and ensuring important actions are followed up. Preparing detailed meeting materials and ensuring the team has everything they need ahead of client meetings. Updating Salesforce with meeting notes, contacts and deal information. Acting as a key liaison between the deal team, internal stakeholders and external clients. Providing hands-on support across ongoing deals, team projects and wider business activity. Staying ahead of changing priorities and resolving issues quickly when plans change. About You Proven Executive Assistant experience supporting senior stakeholders within investment banking or professional services. Comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities can change quickly. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce – this is essential for the role. Excellent diary management and international travel coordination experience. Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. A genuine interest in the work of the team and a desire to understand more than simply the logistics around them. A clear and efficient communicator – the MDs favour concise updates and bullet points rather than lengthy check-ins. Proactive and reliable, with the confidence to take ownership and use your judgement. Personable and professional, with the ability to build trusted relationships across the team and with external clients. The Opportunity You’ll be joining a friendly, fast-moving deal team where the EA is an integral part of how the team operates. They value trust, clarity and someone who can get things done without needing constant direction. This is a great opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys the pace of investment banking and wants a visible, involved role supporting senior dealmakers, with the flexibility of three days in the office and two days working from home.
