Electrician - Housing Property Services We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to join a forward-thinking Housing Property Services team . This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play an important part in ensuring homes and corporate properties remain safe, compliant, well maintained and operating efficiently . Working closely with the wider repairs and maintenance team, you will undertake a broad range of electrical work, from responsive maintenance and emergency repairs through to planned improvements, installations and upgrade projects. Your skills and expertise will directly contribute to maintaining and improving the quality and safety of residential and corporate properties while delivering a professional, reliable service. About the Role The successful candidate will provide operational electrical maintenance services across a range of properties, undertaking work in accordance with allocated works orders, relevant regulations, health and safety requirements, and approved working practices. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical maintenance and repair works in accordance with works order specifications. Undertake individual or joint electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and testing tasks. Complete all work in accordance with current Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work. Complete relevant reports, certificates and documentation using electronic/mobile devices. Order required materials and identify or request any necessary follow-on works. Undertake a variety of electrical work, including: Responsive and emergency repairs Routine servicing, maintenance, inspection and testing Planned installation and remedial works Void property works Complete works orders in accordance with applicable schedules of rates.
