LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR Newport Pagnell Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 Basic Salary + Commission OTE: £26,000 - £28,000 Full UK Driving Licence & Own Car Essential The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Negotiator to join a busy and successful property business in Newport Pagnell. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous lettings or estate agency experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional, customer-focused environment. You will work closely with the Lettings Manager and wider team, supporting the day-to-day lettings operation and providing an exceptional level of service to landlords, tenants and contractors. The role offers a basic salary of £18,000-£20,000, plus commission, with an OTE of £26,000-£28,000. Key Responsibilities Handling telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently. Registering applicants and maintaining accurate records. Matching prospective tenants to suitable properties. Arranging and conducting property viewings. Providing regular feedback to landlords. Negotiating rental offers between landlords and prospective tenants. Preparing and processing letting offers. Carrying out referencing, credit checks and relevant background checks. Obtaining and checking required identification and Right to Rent documentation. Preparing tenancy agreements and associated paperwork. Keeping tenants informed throughout the lettings process. Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors. Arranging pre-tenancy works and ensuring properties are ready for check-in. Coordinating relevant compliance documentation, including gas safety, EICR and Legionella requirements. Assisting with check-ins and ensuring property files are accurately maintained. Booking rental valuations and adding new properties to the relevant systems. Adding and updating property details on internal systems and portals. Managing property boards. Assisting
