Our client, a well-established organisation based in Doncaster, is looking to recruit an experienced Import & Export Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 5:00pm


• Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm

The Role

As an Import & Export Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the movement of goods across both European and global markets. You will be responsible for ensuring all import and export activities are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with relevant regulations, while maintaining excellent communication with customers, couriers and internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage import and export documentation for both European and worldwide shipments.


• Coordinate transportation arrangements to ensure the timely movement of goods.


• Liaise with freight providers, couriers and logistics partners to arrange and monitor shipments.


• Track deliveries and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status.


• Maintain accurate records by updating internal systems and databases.


• Ensure all shipping documentation is completed correctly and submitted within required timescales.


• Resolve any shipment queries or discrepancies in partnership with couriers and internal teams.


• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules, shipping information and documentation requirements.


• Support customs and compliance processes by ensuring all relevant paperwork is accurate and complete.


• Carry out general administrative duties to support the wider logistics and operations teams.

The Successful Candidate

• Previous experience in an Import & Export Administration role is essential.


• Proven experience managing import and export shipments across both European and worldwide markets.


• Good understanding of shipping documentation, logistics processes and international transportation requirements.


• Experience using ERP, MRP or other business systems would be advantageous.
