Join one of the UK's leading ecology teams at Warwickshire County Council.
We are recruiting for two roles:
Ecologist (0.8 FTE, 12-Month Maternity Cover), £37,563 - £40,444 pro rata, 29.6 hours per week (4 days)
Assistant Ecologist (12 months temporary), £29,542 - £32,046, 37 hours per week (full time)
Warwickshire County Council, the first local authority to successfully deliver Biodiversity Net Gain, is seeking an enthusiastic Ecologist to join our growing team for a 12-month maternity cover position.
We are also looking for an Assistant Ecologist to support the delivery of a NatureSpace Partnership GCN district level licence across Warwickshire, Coventry & Solihull local authorities.
Both roles are temporary 12-month positions, with potential for extension and future permanent opportunities.
You'll be part of a highly experienced multidisciplinary team including 14 ecologists, 5 historic environment officers and 2 landscape architects, working at the forefront of nature recovery, biodiversity enhancement and environmental planning.
