Job Description

Set in the village of North Crawley, we are a small school with a close-knit team of staff. We are seeking an efficient and confident individual who can maintain the high standards of the school. Ideal candidate skills and experience: Experience of working with children Experience of working in a school environment Reliable, punctual and trustworthy Have a genuine interest in working with children Duties will include: Supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times Engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation Setting up activities for children to optionally take part in Meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child's time at the club Assisting in the provision of a light tea, preparing, serving and cleaning up Clearing down at the end of each session Mandatory school training We offer: Be part of a small, friendly and supportive staff team Children who engage well and want to learn Work in a beautiful village setting with a large outdoor space Training provided for this role and further training available (some training will be in advance of start date, agreed with candidate) Further opportunities that become available in our federation of schools Working pattern - Monday to Friday, 3.30pm - 6.00pm 12.5 hours per week Term time only plus one inset day The Village Schools Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment.
