Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician £40,000 DOE Midlands / West Midlands Mobile Permanent 40 Hours (Monday to Friday) We are currently partnering with a specialist engineering and technical services business to recruit an experienced Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced refrigeration and air-conditioning professional looking for a varied mobile position covering the Midlands and West Midlands. The role will involve a combination of planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdown response, fault finding, servicing and installation across a range of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and install air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation systems and components Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance Respond to reactive maintenance requirements and urgent breakdowns Diagnose faults across Split, Twin, Multi, VRF and VRV systems Fault find and maintain small chillers and associated equipment Carry out leak testing in accordance with F-Gas regulations Repair and replace defective components on AC and refrigeration systems Identify refrigeration faults and system malfunctions Complete installations of new air-conditioning and small chiller systems Respond to customer callouts as part of the weekly rota Undertake chargeable out-of-hours PPM and reactive work when required Maintain accurate service reports, commissioning sheets and job documentation Ensure equipment and surrounding areas meet required standards Provide professional customer service and maintain strong client relationships Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure effective service delivery Support the selection and procurement of materials, tools and equipment Provide clear verbal and written reports following completed works Complete accurate weekly timesheets Key
