Job Description

Caring for boys ages 4, 8, and 10, Starting ASAP, 40 hours a week over 5 days, with some flexibility, Live-in, with separate accommodation, Shared care, Located: French Pyrenees with long periods of international travel. Seeking a nature-loving nanny who thrives outdoors - fun, gentle, playful, and engaging. Open-minded and adventurous, with a passion for growth and creativity. Grounded, respectful, and attuned to children’s cues. Experience with Forest School, Waldorf, or Montessori is a strong plus, aligned with a hybrid homeschooling/unschooling approach. Duties: Attuned, intentional care that supports each child’s growth and development. Create engaging, child-led activities and nurture their interests, curiosity, and learning goals. Support English through reading and storytelling. Embrace outdoor, nature-based play-crafts, projects, den building, foraging, and gardening. Prepare grain-free, dairy-free and sugar-free snacks. Working closely alongside another nanny/governess. Take the children to activities and packing the appropriate items for various activities. Manage day-to-day logistics. Support with overall running of the household, tidying, unpacking, organising etc. Upcoming international travel to the USA, Argentina, and the EU. A health-conscious, alternative-minded family with a gentle, playful parenting style and a hands-on presence. Both parents work from home and seek a long-term nanny to grow with them and build strong, lasting connections. English speakers are essential for the role, for the children’s language and dialects. A Spanish speaker would be a bonus - the children speak fluent Spanish. Driver would be ideal due to rural location. The family has a dog. Non-smoking environment. Salary: €2,500+ gross/month, open to discussion, flexible for the right person.
