Part Time Nanny

LIVE-IN NANNY – PARIS 7th Live-in · Paris 7th · Approximately 25 hours/week 1,200€ net/month + accommodation & meals · Long-term THE POSITION A warm and dynamic family in the 7th arrondissement of Paris is seeking an experienced, reliable and nurturing Live-in Nanny for their two children, aged 6 and 10. The parents have demanding professional schedules and are looking for someone who can provide a calm, structured and reassuring presence, particularly during the after-school and evening routine. THE CHILDREN The 6-year-old is bright, lively and energetic, and responds well to clear boundaries, consistency and a calm approach. The 10-year-old is more independent but requires support with homework, activities and his evening routine. The ideal nanny will be warm and maternal, while also confident in setting appropriate boundaries, with patience, emotional maturity and good judgement. THE ROLE Approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from around 3:30pm to 8:30pm, with the possibility of extending to 9:00pm. Responsibilities include school pick-up, activities, homework, dinner, bath and bedtime, as well as keeping the children's belongings and areas organised. The nanny will be expected to take ownership of the children's routine and provide continuity when the parents are working. Occasional additional evenings or weekends may be requested and will be paid separately. THE IDEAL PROFILE Previous professional childcare experience preferred, particularly with school-aged children Fluent French essential English and/or Spanish a strong advantage Driving licence appreciated but not essential Warm, reliable, discreet and emotionally mature Must have the legal right to work in France and a valid work permit where required LIVE-IN & CONDITIONS Private accommodation and meals are provided. The nanny will have her own private space and will be fully off duty outside agreed working hours. 1,200€ net/month for approximately 25 hours/week, with remuneration adjusted if the regular schedule increases.
