$150k base USD 50k sign on + discretionary bonus Onsite WORKING Location: Also open in Geneva , Central London, Greater London - United Kingdom Type: Permanent Junior Discretionary Trader - London or New York My client is a global investment management firm running a diversified set of systematic and quantitative strategies across global markets, with additional discretionary trading where opportunities cannot be fully automated. The firm is highly technology- and data-driven , building its own trading platforms, research systems, and large-scale compute infrastructure, and operates with a globally integrated, collaborative model . They are looking to hire recent graduates to join their Discretionary Trading team . As a Junior Discretionary Trader , you will work closely with senior traders, supporting daily portfolio management, monitoring risk, hedging, and trade execution. You'll collaborate with quantitative researchers and gain exposure across Equities, Commodities, Rates/FX, Credit, and Volatility , developing skills in research, portfolio construction, risk management, and execution. Responsibilities Support senior traders in evaluating and managing trading opportunities Monitor portfolios, produce P&L and risk reporting Assist with hedging and trade execution, including complex or illiquid trades Collaborate with quantitative research teams to enhance trading decisions Requirements Recent or upcoming graduate in a quantitative or technical discipline Strong analytical and communication skills; comfortable in a fast-paced environment Programming ability required (Python strongly preferred)
