Supply Teaching Assistant – Gloucester Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Gloucester? The Role As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be working across a variety of settings and supporting pupils with a range of needs. Your responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups Assisting the class teacher with learning activities Supporting children with SEND and additional needs Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence Supporting with behaviour and emotional wellbeing Building positive relationships with pupils and staff Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and age groups What We're Looking For We are keen to hear from candidates who: Have experience working with children or young people Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar role Are patient, enthusiastic and adaptable Can build positive relationships with pupils Are confident working as part of a team Have a genuine passion for supporting children and their education Experience working within schools is beneficial, but we also welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in areas such as SEND, care, youth work or childcare.
