Bid Writer Construction & Civil Engineering Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience Hours: Monday Thursday 8am 5pm Friday 8am 3.30pm Working Arrangement: Full-time, office-based Ready to help win major construction and infrastructure projects? Our client is an established Scottish construction and civil engineering contractor with an exciting portfolio across renewable energy, power and energy, infrastructure, roads, transport, industrial and commercial projects. Due to an upcoming vacancy, they are looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join their team and take ownership of tenders from initial review through to final submission. This is an opportunity for an experienced bid professional to play a key role in developing high-quality, compelling and commercially focused submissions that help secure major projects. The Role Working within an experienced bid team, you will be responsible for your allocated tenders and manage the full end-to-end bid process, including: Reviewing ITTs, PQQs, specifications and evaluation criteria. Writing and developing high-quality technical and quality responses. Coordinating with Estimating, Commercial, HSQE, Operations and Project Delivery teams to gather information. Developing and maintaining CVs, case studies and project data sheets. Managing formatting, document presentation and version control. Ensuring submissions meet client requirements, word counts and deadlines. Maintaining and updating the company's tender content library. Supporting post-tender presentations where required. Ensuring all submissions are accurate, consistent, professional and compliant. About You We're looking for an experienced Bid Writer with a proven background in bid writing and tendering. You should have: Previous professional bid/tender writing experience essential. Experience managing complex tenders from start to finish. Strong understanding of PQQs, ITTs and comp
