Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management company, providing planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites. This is a mobile position covering sites across Birmingham, Nuneaton, Nottingham, Leeds and Manchester , so applicants must be comfortable travelling between locations as required. The Role As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical systems and building services across the portfolio are maintained to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites Attending reactive electrical maintenance and breakdowns Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of electrical systems Testing, inspection and general electrical maintenance Emergency lighting checks and repairs Maintenance of lighting, power, distribution boards and associated systems Carrying out minor electrical installations and remedial works Ensuring all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations Completing job sheets and maintenance records accurately Liaising professionally with clients and site representatives Identifying additional remedial works where required Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures What We're Looking For The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, Building Services or commercial maintenance NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience Experience working across commercial properties Good communication and customer-facing skills Ability to manage your own workload across multiple sites Full UK driving licence Additional qualifications such as 2391 Testi
