SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES (SEND) LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT We wish to appoint a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our small, friendly team for five days a week to work primarily with a pupil with special educational needs. The role would also include more general support of the class teacher and a lunchtime duty each day. Start date – as soon as possible Salary – PS3.3 (£25,133 FTE) pro-rata for part time, term time only approx £11,976 Number of hours – 20 hours per week (including 5 lunchtime duties), term time only (39 weeks) to include up to 3 INSET days Contract – Fixed Term until 22 July 2027 (or before if EHCP 1:1 pupil leaves school earlier) Applications Close – Wednesday 16th September 2026 at 5pm Interviews Held – Wednesday 23rd September 2026 All Saints Church of England Infant school is set in the popular village of Tilford to the south of Farnham. The school is well regarded in the local community, and we enjoy good relationships with our parents. The school is part of the Farnham Schools Confederation and works closely with our local church and the Diocese. Our grounds are beautiful with great resources and access to the woods behind the school. Learning outside the classroom is an important part of the school and we run weekly Forest School sessions for our pupils. We are proud of the high standards achieved by our pupils and are committed to all children achieving their full potential. In February 2026, we underwent an Ofsted Inspection under the newly revised framework and were awarded ‘Strong’ in Personal Development and ‘Expected’ in all other inspection areas. We would like to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Learning Support Assistant in our Year Two class as soon as possible. The position is for five part days a week. It would be a fixed term role to support a child with special educational needs. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting the child and their needs as well as planning learning opportunities in conjunction with the class teacher, to meet the needs of the pupil.
