Fire Safety Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fire Safety professional to join one of the North's largest social housing providers, responsible for helping to manage fire safety compliance across a portfolio of more than 35,000 homes. Based within a specialist fire safety team, you'll play a key role in shaping fire safety strategy, driving compliance performance, and supporting the delivery of safer homes for residents. Description This role sits within a dedicated Fire Safety team and will see you acting as the subject matter expert supporting colleagues, contractors and stakeholders across a large residential portfolio. Manage and monitor Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programmes. Review FRA findings and allocate remedial actions. Track fire safety actions through to completion. Support compliance with the Fire Safety England Regulations (FSER). Undertake fire door inspections and compliance audits. Provide fire safety advice to operational and asset management teams. Investigate fire-related incidents and ensure lessons learned are shared. Work alongside development teams to ensure new-build compliance. Produce compliance reports, KPI data and management information. Deliver fire safety training and awareness sessions. Support resident engagement and fire safety communication.
