Job Description

Multi-Trade Operative Birmingham Full-time / Permanent / PAYE £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience plus van, mobile, tools, overtime, travel allowance We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Trade Operative to join a dynamic team at a successful, progressive & professional company on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is an established contractor working within the insurance claims sector carrying out repairs to residential properties in the Midlands and across the UK. UK driving licence is required you will be provided with a company van and tools. You need to be open to some travel across the UK with overnight stays (travel and overnight allowances paid). Job role: Undertake general multi-trade duties including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling, patch plastering etc. Install kitchens, doors, flooring, and other fixtures Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations Communicate effectively with homeowners, office team and other trade colleagues What you will need: Proven multi-trade experience working on residential property repairs Experience having worked on insurance repairs (escape of water, fire, flood damge etc.) Good knowledge/experience of a variety of trades Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to carry out works to a very high standard and within timescales. To be able to work safely and adhere to health and safety at work. A full UK driving licence is essential (van provided) alongside willingness to travel as required. As you will be liaising with clients/homeowners you will need good communication skills and be well presented. A DBS check will be required. Ideally you will have some experience working on properties following insurance claim damage (escape of water, fire, flood, subsidence) If you have an NVQ / City & Guilds (or similar) or have completed an Apprenticeship this is ideal but not esse
