Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: 27k - 35k + Training & Benefits Our client is a privately-owned Water Hygiene / Water Treatment specialist, with a stronghold in the Yorkshire region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a range of commercial and domestic sites across the region. Our client provides a variety of services to clients (including plumbing and equipment support) so there are excellent opportunities to train within the industry. Experience / Qualifications: Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines Ideally will hold industry courses / qualifications (i.e. Legionella Awareness, TMV servicing) Flexible to travel with changing company needs Good literacy and numeracy skill level IT literate The Role: Showerhead descales TMV servicing and maintenance Acid descales Flushing on little used outlets Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring Keeping a record of works undertaken Adhering to set deadlines Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Operative, Water Management Technician, Water Hygiene Operative, Legionella Technician.
