Credit Controller - Runcorn Permanent Role - £29k About Our Client An organisation in the retail industry, located in Runcorn. Job Description Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and manage overdue invoices. Handle customer queries and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner. Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and account statements. Conduct credit checks and assess potential risks for new and existing clients. Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications. Work closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure alignment on credit policies. Generate regular reports on debtor balances and collection progress. Implement and improve credit control procedures as needed. The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Controller should have: Experience in credit control or a similar role in the accounting and finance sector. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £29,000, dependent on the level of experience. 25 days days hols plus BH ICM trainning Permanent position in the retail sector.
