About the role: You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in
our brand-new nursery, that meets the needs of our diverse pupil community.
This post offers the opportunity to: Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive
lessons that accelerate progress in the Early Years Use assessment and formative feedback to
adapt teaching to individual pupil needs. Support and contribute to whole-school
initiatives such as OPAL play and UNICEF RRS to enhance pupils’ personal
development. Work collaboratively with colleagues,
parents and external partners to ensure strong pastoral support and to
improve attendance and behaviour. Be part of a professional learning
culture where reflection, development and teamwork are encouraged. We are seeking someone
who: Believes passionately that every pupil
can make progress and is committed to inclusive practice that meets pupils
where they are. Is resilient, reflective and adaptable —
able to solve problems with a calm, “can do” approach. Demonstrates high expectations, strong
behaviour management and a kind, respectful manner. Communicates effectively with pupils,
parents and colleagues and works well as part of a team. Is keen to contribute to whole-school
improvement priorities and to lead or support development in curriculum,
attendance or pastoral work. Is motivated to continue professional
learning and to share practice across the staff team. Has a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
qualification and previous experience of working in a nursery
